PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suturing device which achieves a stable fixing force for the suture. SOLUTION: The suturing device 6 includes an anchor 2 to be dwelled in a biomedical tissue, the suture 3 guided out of the anchor 2 and a stopper 5 which is inserted through the suture 3 to regulate the deviation of the suture 3 from the biomedical tissue anastomosed with the suture 3. The stopper 5 is provided with the base part 5A which is formed in a slender plate and has the through hole 5a so arranged as to be pierced by the suture and a pair of bent pieces 5B and 5C which is so formed as to make both ends of the base part 5A face each other respectively being folded back toward the center. Thick parts each of which is formed thicker in the direction of inserting the suture 3 to grasp the suture 3 are provided at the respective tips of the pair of bent pieces 5B and 5C.
