PURPOSE:To make it possible to emit light with high luminance for any of three primary colors by forming a single crystal of diamond on a micro particle layer composed of micro particles having SP<3> bond. CONSTITUTION:The diamond light emission element comprises a micro particle layer where micro particles having SP<3> bond are aggregated densely in a single layer so that the average particle interval will be shorter than the particle diameter, and single crystals of diamond formed on respective micro particles in the micro particle layer. The color of emitted light varies when impurities are doped such that blue light is emitted when impurities are not doped, green light is emitted when boron is doped and red light is emitted when nitride or the like is doped. Consequently, light can be emitted with high luminance for any of three primary colors. |
