<p>PURPOSE:To realize the simulation of the operation of a side-lobe canceller and to make the realistic training for radar operation by adding a side-lobe pattern function generator to the antenna pattern modulating part of a conventional radar training apparatus. CONSTITUTION:When an operator selects the operation of a side-lobe canceller, since the coefficients of gain coefficient multipliers 93a, 93b become alpha=1, the outputs of antenna pattern function generators 91a, 91b and the outputs of side-lobe pattern function generators 92a, 92b are respectively synthesized by subtractors 94a, 94b and the result of the subtraction of both of them becomes only a main lobe as shown by synthesized antenna pattern output 15. Therefore, the output high frequency signals of radio wave propagation modulating parts 8a, 8b are not outputted as simulated high frequency outputs even when there is the arrival wave from a side-lobe pattern direction and the operation of the side-lobe canceller can be realized.</p> |
