<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress deterioration of an electrolyte of a fuel cell without using a decomposition catalyst of expensive peroxide radicals. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system including the fuel cell is equipped with the fuel cell in which power generation is carried out by an electrochemical reaction of oxidizer containing oxygen and a fuel containing hydrogen via a cell having ion-exchangeable electrolyte membrane, a metal tank which is formed of a prescribed metal material capable of eluting metal ions capable of cross-linking with the electrolyte membrane, and which stores at least one part of formed water formed by the electrochemical reaction in the fuel cell, and a formed water adding part in which stored formed water stored in the metal tank is added against the electrolyte membrane in the fuel cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
