<p>PURPOSE:To discriminate a state containing both of or either one of the first and second articles by arranging a metal detector outputting an ON-signal upon the detection of a metal and a metal detector outputting an OFF-signal upon the detection of no metal on the side of the first article of a specimen. CONSTITUTION:The states of a specimen 10 are divided into a state (1) wherein the first and second articles are received, a state (2) wherein only the first article is received, a state (3) wherein only the second article is received and a state (4) wherein nothing is received and the combinations of the output signals of respective detection elements are different. The state (2) can be discriminated from the state (3) by the first metal detector 21a and the state (1) can be discriminated from the state (2) by the second metal detector 21b. By this method, the excellent article wherein the first and second articles are present in the specimen 10 can be discriminated.</p> |
