<p>PURPOSE:To record information of a readout area by storing a changing position on a tape in response to a change of an audio signal from presence to absence and rewinding the tape to the change position when the tape end is detected while no audio signal is detected. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a recording and reproduction head 1, a recording and reproduction amplifier 2, a signal processing section 3, a D/A converter 3A, an A/D converter 3B, a level detector section 4, a system controller 5, a clock counter 5A, a memory 5B, a tape drive control section 6, a tape drive mechanism section 7, and an operation section 8. Then in the case of recording, the presence of an inputted audio signal is detected and a change position on a tape is stored in response to a change of the audio signal from presence to absence and when the tape end is detected while no audio signal is detected, the tape is rewound up to the said change position. Thus, the playing is finished and the audio signal is interrupted, the information about the readout area is stored automatically at the audio signal interrupt position.</p> |
