PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a papermaking unit which can prevent leakage of pulp containing liquid between both width regulation members to outside of the width regulation members.SOLUTION: A papermaking unit has: a papermaking belt 22 rotating freely on an endless track and having water permeability; a headbox 23 for supplying pulp containing liquid 5 on the papermaking belt 22; and a pair of width regulation members 24 for regulating a flow of the pulp containing liquid 5 supplied on the papermaking belt 22 from the headbox 23 in a belt cross direction W. The papermaking unit comprises side leak prevention plates 42 for preventing leakage of the pulp containing liquid 5 between both width regulation members 24 from gaps between the width regulation members 24 and the papermaking belt 22 to outside of both width regulation members 24. |
