PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner having high dust collection capacity, capable of suppressing reduction in cooling and heating performance and dehumidification performance due to increase in pressure loss resulting from a filter, and capable of attaining a comfortable indoor space.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes an indoor machine and an outdoor machine. The indoor machine includes a blower fan, and an air suction port in which a dust collection filter can be installed. Whether a collection filter is installed in the air suction port can be detected on the basis of the operation state of the blower fan (S40), and when it is detected that the collection filter is installed in the air suction port, the rotational frequency of the blower fan is increased (S51).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
