Provided are a white light emitting device and a display device using the same, which can improve color uniformity. The white light emitting device includes: a plurality of light sources mounted on a circuit board to emit blue light; a light conversion unit spaced apart from the circuit board to convert the blue light incident from the light sources to white light; a reflection sheet stacked on the circuit board to reflect the blue light toward the direction of a light converting layer; and a compensation unit provided between the circuit board and the reflection sheet to convert the blue light to the white light.
