The present invention relate to an underwater pump unit, comprising: a main motor which provides rotary force to a main axis; an auxiliary direct current motor coupled to a main motor shaft to provide rotary force to the main axis; and an impeller coupled to the bottom of the main axis, wherein the main motor shaft is integrally formed with the main axis by extending the main axis. The present invention provides the twin motor type underwater pump unit which can actively handle an impeller fixation phenomenon generated by transient current when activating and in an idle state for a long time, which mainly causes defective motors, thereby preventing preventing electric malfunction and mechanical malfunction of the underwater pump.
