WIDTH EXPANDING METHOD OF METALLIC SHEET

PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain the product with extensive width dimension by performing by shifting the wave expanding work of metallic sheet which is corrugating formed in the width direction gradually from the middle part in the width direction to end parts. CONSTITUTION:A metallic sheet or strip metal is formed into the state with waves in the width direction. Next, the corrugated metallic sheet or strip metal is subjected to the wave expanding work by shifting gradually from the middle part in the width direction to the end parts. The corrugated sheet is made with the rolling mill with a rolls with calibers. The corrugated sheet is expanded using a die. In this way, the metal plate with adequate expanding quantity can be obtained at practical cost.
