PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To normally issue an alarm for input optical signals of different extinction ratios transmitted from a plurality of optical transmitters.SOLUTION: An optical receiver 1 comprises: a ROSA 2 that converts a received optical signal into an electric signal and outputs an Rx Power Monitor signal; a CDR 3 that outputs a voltage amplitude value Va of the electric signal as an amplitude monitor signal; a discrimination value update part 56 that updates a discrimination value VT relating to issuance of an Rx Power Monitor alarm based on the Rx Power Monitor signal and the amplitude monitor signal; and an alarm issuance decision part 53 that outputs an Rx Power Monitor alarm based on the Rx Power Monitor signal and the discrimination value VT.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
