PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of efficiently performing printing desired by a user by reducing a burden of the printing work in a case where a direction of a set sheet is erroneously input.SOLUTION: A digital composite machine, when receiving input of a setting direction of a sheet (S12), sets a detection time of conveyance failure of the sheet to a time determined in advance as the detection time of conveyance failure of the sheet in a case where the sheet is set in a lateral direction regardless of the input setting direction of the sheet (S13), starts measurement of the time when a tip of the sheet passes through a prescribed position of a sheet conveyance path (S16), and determines that conveyance of the sheet is failure (S25) when the time measured without detecting the passage of a rear end of the sheet becomes longer than the time determined in advance as the detection time of conveyance failure of the sheet in a case where the sheet is set in the lateral direction (S24).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
