PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detection device including at least three or more detection units.SOLUTION: The rotation angle detection device includes: a rotary member 2; a magnet 3 that is fixed to this rotary member 2 and rotates along with the rotation of the rotary member 2; magnetism detection packages 41 and 42 that incorporate a detection unit including a magnetoelectric transducer that is disposed in a rotation axis L direction of the magnet 3 and detects the intensity of the magnetic field of the magnet 3 which changes as the magnet 3 rotates; a circuit board 6 having the magnetism detection packages 41 and 42 mounted; and a housing 5 that houses the rotary member 2 rotatably, the magnetism detection packages 41 and 42, and the circuit board 6. The magnetism detection packages 41 and 42 include a first magnetism detection package 41 having two detection units, and a second magnetism detection package 42 having one or two detection units.
