PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position a mullion easily and fix a vertical bone such as the mullion to a window frame, in attaching the vertical bone such as the mullion to the window frame formed by framing upper and lower frames and right and left vertical frames.SOLUTION: A sash window includes: a window frame formed by framing upper and lower frames and right and left vertical frames; a vertical bone positioned and fixed between the upper and lower frames; and a connecting metal fitting connecting the lower frame and the vertical bone. The lower frame is provided with a cut-off part at a position where the vertical bone is arranged. A connecting metal fitting has an attaching part abutting and attached to the lower frame from below and a vertical bone fixing part to which the vertical bone is fixed continuously to the attaching part and protruding upward with respect to the cutting-off part of the lower frame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
