A lens edging system of the present invention includes: an edger 10 configured to perform edging of a spectacle lens using an edging tool; a shape measurement device 20 configured to measure an edging shape of a circumferential edge of the spectacle lens after edging by the edger 10; a memory part 41 configured to store information 42 regarding a reference shape of the edging tool 11 used by the edger 10; a shape comparing and judging part 43 configured to compare a measurement result obtained by the shape measurement device 20 and a reference shape of the edging tool 11 specified from the information 42 stored in the memory part 41, and judge necessity/non-necessity for exchanging the edging tool 11 based on a comparison result; and an information output part 44 configured to output information regarding necessity for exchange when the shape comparing and judging part 43 so judges. |
