A semiconductor system comprises: a controller configured to output a command and an address; and a semiconductor device configured to turn on a first MOS transistor included in a first operation circuit and a second MOS transistor included in a second operation circuit in response to a first internal command when a first operation is performed in response to the command and configured to turn on the first MOS transistor in response to a period signal generated from the address when a second operation is performed in response to the command. Therefore, the semiconductor system applies the period signal to a circuit which does not operate to prevent deterioration of features of the MOS transistors included in the semiconductor system.
