A power supply including a printed circuit board which arranges and connects components with a structure having a narrow width to restrict the height of the components includes: a transformer supplying energy to an output; an output rectification diode rectifying a voltage withdrawn from an output port of the transformer; a first smoothing capacitor smoothing the voltage rectified by the rectification diode; and the printed circuit board which arranges and connects electronic components including the transformer, the output rectification diode and the first smoothing capacitor, and has a restricted space to arrange the components in a width direction since a case of the power supply to be mounted is narrow and low, and is mounted in the case of the power supply. The first smoothing capacitor is located between the output rectification diode and the transformer mounted on the printed circuit board, and the length of a connection line between one port of the first smoothing capacitor and one port which is not connected to the output rectification diode among ports of the transformer supplying energy to the first smoothing capacitor is made to be short. Thus, the generation of EMI is reduced by decreasing a voltage drop generated at the connection line between one port of the transformer and one port of the first smoothing capacitor. |
