DEVELOPER FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHY

PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the triboelectric chargeability of a developer by incorporating inorg. oxide-based spherical fine particles having 0.05-1.0mum average particle size and 0-30% variation coefft. of particle size. CONSTITUTION:Inorg. oxide-based spherical fine particles having 0.05-1.0mum average particle size and 0-30% variation coefft. of particle size are incorporated into a developer for electrophotography. The primary particles nearly free from aggregated particles are added to a toner and uniformly stuck to the surfaces of the toner particles. The deterioration of the triboelectric chargeability of the resulting developer is prevented and the lowering of development density or the increase of fogging development can be prevented.
