PURPOSE:To obtain magnetic alloy having high saturation magnetic flux density, small coercive force and excellent thermal stability by permitting the magnetic alloy to be defined by the composition formula of FexNyMz and specifying the atomic % defined by (x), (y) and (z). CONSTITUTION:The magnetic alloy is defined by the composition formula of FexNyMz and the atomic % defined by (x), (y) and (z) has the relationship shown by the expression I, where M is C or Ge or the mixed material of C and Ge. Such composition allows to obtain the magnetic alloy having high satulation magnetic flux density, small coercive force, high permeability, excellent thermal stability and corrosion resistivity for magnetic devices such as a magnetic head. |
