PURPOSE:To exclude an even of disable voice packet processing and resulting in aborting a voice frame and unarrival of voice to an opposite party when a volume of the voice is small and an event of surrounding noise to be processed into a packet by varying dynamically a threshold level of a voiced and unvoiced signal in the case of packet processing of the voice frame. CONSTITUTION:A voice packet composing circuit 5 connects to an output signal line 6 of an MPC coding circuit 2. When an output of a voice amplitude information comparator circuit 4 is activated, the voice packet composing circuit 5 regards it that a voice frame is voiced, composes a voice packet and outputs it to a voice packet output line 12, and if the voice amplitude information comparator circuit 4 is not activated, the voice packet composing circuit 5 regards it that a voice frame is unvoiced, and does not compose a voice packet. thus, an event of disable voice packet processing and resulting in aborting a voice frame and unarrival of voice to an opposite party when a volume of the voice is small and an event of surrounding noise to be processed into a packet are excluded. |
