<p>PURPOSE:To attain correct processing by applying the processing to a cell in which any discontinuity is detected and that its time stamp has an error, while regarding that there is no change in the arrangement of cells on the way of transmission. CONSTITUTION:When a time stamp check section 34 detects cell abort, a read clock is tentatively stopped by an output signal from the time stamp check section 34 to a readout clock control section 36 and a dummy insert section 37 provided between a cell time series processing section 35 and a decoder 38 inserts a dummy data between the data. However, when the result of parity check at a parity check section 33 of a reception section 30 operated in this way discriminates the presence of an error in time stamp, the cell is regarded to be a cell coming next to one preceding cell independently of the time stamp and the clock stop and the insert of the dummy data are not executed.</p> |
