<p>PURPOSE:To control printing density linearly by a method wherein electrification is performed continuously during the time from receiving a heating start signal with an electrification control means to receiving an electrification end signal therewith and further, this continuous time is controlled by a binary code data. CONSTITUTION:An H level signal is outputted from a coincidence circuit 5 to a signal wire 5a. A J-K flip flop 7 transits said output signal from the H level to an L level at a first transition of a clock CK. Consequently, electrification to a heating element 12 is stopped, and heating is stopped. Then, when a counter 92 performs output of F, a carry CO becomes at an H level, and an L level signal comes to be outputted from an output terminal Q of a J-K flip flop 93. The counter 92 loads an L level from input terminals A-D. Besides, a stop signal STOP of a signal wire 8 becomes at an L level to reset the J-K flip flop 7. Electrification of the heating element 12 corresponding to a latch 3 to which a binary code data is latched is ended thereby. Half-tone printing and control for thermal history of the heating element 12 can be exactly performed thereby.</p> |
