<p>PURPOSE:To enable a control data to be inputted as it is to a shift register by a method wherein an A phase latch which inputs logic of an A phase bit corresponding to a thermal head to be heated with an A phase electric power of a shift register and a B phase latch which inputs logic of a B phase bit corresponding to a thermal head to be heated with a B phase electric power source are provided, and a driver is controlled in time sharing by the A phase and B phase latched. CONSTITUTION:A [LLHL] signal is outputted to gates 41-44 from respective (4n)th and (4n+1)th latches for a control signal of a latch A. When a strobe signal becomes effective for a period while the control signal of the latch A is logic [H], a [LLHL] signal is outputted to D1-D4, and RNo.5 nd RNo.7 are heated. When contents of a shift register 20 are left as they are and a control signal of a latch B is inputted to the bits of (4n+2)th and (4n+3)th latches, a [HLHH] signal is outputted to the gates 41-44 from the bits of (4n+2)th and (4n+3)th latches, and RNo.2, RNo.6, and RNo.7 are heated while the strobe signal is effective.</p> |
