<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture such a racket gut that is excellent in water resistance and has superior resilience, besides rich in a soft batting feeling by constituting it from a polyphenylenesulfide monofilament of more than the specified pieces in the core part. CONSTITUTION:A core part 1 is constituted by more than five pieces (more than seven pieces, if possible) of polyphenylenesulfide (hereinafter referred to as PPS) monofilaments. For example, centering on a thick diametral PPS monofilament 1a, plural pieces of a thinish PPS monofilament 1b are rolled on the circumference. A leather string 2 consisting of a nylon monofilament is wound on this core part 1, and a resin coating layer 3 is covered from the upside. In consequence, it comes to be excellent in water resistance, and have superior resilience, besides rich in a soft batting feeling. In addition, it is inexpensive as compared with a natural gut.</p> |
