PURPOSE:To obtain composite material, which can utilize the merits of synthetic resin and of metal, by a structure wherein the composite material concerned consists of resin material part and netlike metal plate, which is integrally imbedded in the resin material part under the condition that the surface is projected from or flush with one side of the resin material part. CONSTITUTION:For resin material part 1, high performance resin such as polyacetal, polyamide, polycarbonate, modified polyphenylene ether or the like is preferably used and general purpose plastic may be used. Further, for net-like metal plate 2, any one of wire net, lath, punching metal and expanded metal is used and the expanded metal, the non-slip action of which is large, is preferably used. Under the condition that the net-like metal plate 2 is set on one of dies 3 and 4 so as to set its surface in such a state being slightly below or flush with the molding surface of the die, resin is fed in the dies 3 and 4 so as to mold the composite material. The obtained composite material has merits such as the lightness in weight and rustproofness of resin, electrical insulation properties and the like and, at the same time, the reinforcing action and non-slip action of the net-like metal plate compensate the demerits of the resin, resulting in allowing to produce lightweight and high strength part. |
