When the charge is finished, the low concentration neg. electrode side electrolyte pipings 56, 58 are changed over into the shutoff state, and the charging will be performed only by the neg. electrode side electrolyte storing through 24 as the body. Thereby the electroprecipitation Zn density on the neg. electrode during charging can effectively be increased so that high energy density can be obtained.
