PURPOSE:To enhance the thermal stability to regenerating laser beam and to form a stable pit by the irradiation with recording laser beam by using a dye whose absorption max. wavelength of an absorption spectrum is shorter than a recording and reproducing laser wavelength as the dye constituting an optical recording layer. CONSTITUTION:Since a dye whose absorption max. wavelength is shorter than a recording and reproducing laser wavelength is used in an optical recording layer, the optical recording layer is low in the absorption of laser beam and excellent in thermal resistance. When a recording and reproducing wavelength has such a characteristic that the reflection max. wavelength of the dye is longer than the recording and reproducing laser wavelength, not only the absorption of laser beam is low but also high reflectively good in recording and reproduction is provided. Therefore, this optical card is excellent in the thermal stability to reproducing laser beam and low in the deterioration of reproduction and stably forms a pit by the irradiation with recording laser beam. Further, it is pref. to use an indoanilin metal complex dye as the optical recording layer from the aspect of reflectivity and durability. |
