PURPOSE:To extend the memory capacity of a RAM by a software by writing data, which can not wholly stored in the RAM of a controller, into the prescribed area with an excess space of the RAM of the other controller by communication and reading out the written data as needed. CONSTITUTION:The communication is executed through a communication line mutually between a controller 1, which controls the fuel emission and ignition of an engine, and a controller 2 to control an automatic change gear. When the RAM 13 of the controller 1 equipped with capacity more than the memory capacity to be used for the control, an address register, data register and status register are exclusively allocated to the prescribed area with the excess space. Then, the lacked data of the controller 2 lacking the memory capacity is written through communication control to the prescribed area excepting for these registers and read out as needed. |
