PURPOSE:To attain easy control and to improve a processing speed by providing the variable power device with an arithmetic means, a line memory and the 1st to 3rd selecting means and switching a data flow by the 1st to 3rd switching means in accordance with contraction and expansion. CONSTITUTION:In the case of expanding processing, input data are temporarily stored in the line memory 1 through the 1st selecting means 3 and them applied to the arithmetic means 2 through the 2nd selecting means. The means 2 inserts new data to the data string applied to the means 2 itself and outputs an expanded image data string to the outside of th device through the 3rd selecting means 5. In the case of contraction, the input data are applied to the means 2 through the means 4, contracted data are temporarily stored in the memory 1 and then outputted to the outside of the device as a contracted image data string through the means 5. |
