PURPOSE:To obtain an air-conditioner which can be comfortably used without causing water leaks by fixing a side end plate of an evaporator to the inner surface of the side wall of a receiving dish and forming a protrusion for leading condensed water falling over the side end plate into a condensed water receiving dish in the vicinity of an area of the upper end of the side wall in contact with the side end plate. CONSTITUTION:A condensed water receiving dish 35 integrally formed with the upper surface on the left side of an upper fan case 31 is covered with a side wall 36 protruded upwardly so as to cover the lower part of an evaporator 8, while a section of the wall 36 is recessed toward the interior of the dish 35 to form a side wall 37 for mounting the evaporator. A belt-shaped protrusion 38 is formed at a location on the outer circumferential surface of the dish 35 of the upper end of the wall 37 so as to form a step on the inner circumferential surface of the dish 35. The protrusion 38 leads condensed water, which is produced on the plate 8a and flows down over said plate 8a, into the dish 35. Consequently, total amount of the condensed water produced at the evaporator 8 smoothly falls down into the dish 35 without causing the water to be scattered, so that a bottom plate or floor surface for installation are not moistened with condensed water and hence the air-conditioner can be comfortably used. |
