A cutter blade block assembly for a wood shearing machine comprises a cutter blade block 1 and an angle iron and cutter blade unit 2 secured by means of studs 6 and nuts 8 to the block, a hook 3 being provided on each side of the angle iron for engagement with a dowel 4 on the block. The hooks are also formed with apertures 7 which are engaged by hoists during removal and replacement of the angle iron and cutter blade unit 2 when the nuts and studs are released, the holes being in such a position that the hooks 3 easily engage the dowels 4 to permit accurate positioning of the unit 2 during replacement with the consequent ease of fitting the nuts and studs.</p> |
