<p>PURPOSE:To prevent double feed by installing a bracket for supporting a separating pad, a pushing-back member, and a shifting mechanism for blacing the above-described members in mutual interlocking motion and automatically pushing back a paper sheet accommodated in a tray in the vicinity of a paper feeding roller by the operation of a lever in a process of manual paper insertion. CONSTITUTION:A manual insertion tray 2, a paper feeding roller 5, a separating pad 6 supported on a bracket 8, a pushing-back member 9, and a shifting mecha nism 10 for swinging the pushing-back member 9 in accordance with the contact and separation of the separating pad 6 to and from the paper feeding roller 5 are installed over a paper feeding tray 1. In manual paper feed, the shifting mechanism 10 is operated by the operation of a lever 11, and the separating pad 6 is separated from the paper feeding roller 5, and at the same time, paper sheets 2 accommodated in a tray in the vicinity edge automatically pushed back by the pushing-back member 9, and any manual insertion paper sheet 4 is prevented from being supplied together with the paper sheets 2 accommodat ed in the tray, and double feed can be surely prevented.</p> |
