PURPOSE:To prevent fuel from sticking on a partition wall at the time of low load or the like and remaining in a liquid-drop condition by setting an independent intake passage which is independent from the other part on an intake passage located upstream from the partition wall which partitions the downstream end part of one intake passage. CONSTITUTION:Intake valves 8, 9 are arranged in respective intake ports 4, 5 formed by partitioning the downstream end part of one intake passage 12 by means of a partition wall 13. A primary intake passage 15 independent from a secondary a secondary intake passage 16 by a surrounding wall 14 is provided in the intake port located upstream from the partition wall 13. Outlet opening of the intake passage 15 is faced to the upstream end part of the partition wall 13. When the secondary intake passage 16 is closed by a shutter valve 17 at the time of low load, since intake air accelerated from the primary intake passage 14 is blown to the partition wall 13 concentratingly, sticking of fuel injected from a fuel injection valve 19 to the partition wall 13 is prevented. |
