PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of an automatic door by providing a plurality of sensors which detects presence/absence of objects and door stopping positions at a plurality of points corresponding to the combination of detecting signals of the sensors and setting the opening/closing width of the door in stages. CONSTITUTION:Left-side sensors 40 and 41, central sensors 50 and 51, and right- side sensors 60 and 61 are provided on both sides of a left and right doors 2 and 3. Opening limit switches 7L and 7R, half-opening limit switches 8L and 8R, and closing limit switches 9L and 9R are provided along a wall 1. When either one of the sensors 40 and 41 or 50 and 51 is turned on from the fully closed state of the left door 2, the door 2 is 'moved in the opening direction'. In this state, when the sensors 40 and 41 are turned off and either one of the sensors 50 and 51 is turned on, the door 2 is 'stopped in a half-opened state'. In case either one of the sensors 40 and 41 is turned on, the door 2 is again 'moved in the opening direction' until the door 2 is 'stopped in a fully opened state'. |
