PURPOSE:To shorten a system shutting-off period by providing this multiprocessor system with a rerising device for automatically executing the rerise of the system when a system fault due to hardware or software occurs. CONSTITUTION:At the time of generating system down due to the generation of a system fault, data stored in a main storage device B, a local memory C in each microprocessor board and the internal register D of the microprocessor are restored in a data saving means F. Thereby, the erasing of these data can be surely prevented. Since the system is automatically reraised by rerising means A, processing executed before the generation of the system fault can be continuously executed after completing the restorage of the data. Consequently, the system stopping period can be shortened and the reliability of the system can be improved. |
