PURPOSE:To perform proper dimming matched with visibility regardless of a dark place and a bright place by controlling illumination loads with the dimming signal corrected for visibility. CONSTITUTION:When the dimming level is set by a dimming level setter 6, the dimming control data are fed to a main controller 8, the main controller 8 performs the visibility correction processing to the dimming control data, then it outputs the dimming signal to perform the dimming control of illumination loads 5. The visibility correction performed by the main controller 8 can cope with the human visibility characteristics different at a dark place and a bright place by multiplicatively increasing the degree of the change of the actual dimming quantity of the illumination loads for the action quantity of the dimming level setter 6 as the present dimming level becomes higher. The proper dimming matched with the human visibility can be performed. |
