<p>PURPOSE:To perfectly eliminate the effect of an electrolyte on the semiconductor element and printed wiring in a data card by absorbing the electrolyte when the electrolyte leaks from a mounted battery by providing a polymer absorbing material to at least the bottom surface part coming into contact with a battery to be received of a container. CONSTITUTION:A battery 2 is received in a battery receiving container 1 and this battery receiving container 1 is inserted in the side surface of a data card main body 5 constituted of a resin such as PBT, PET or ABS and a thin metal plate and having a semiconductor element received therein in a drawer like manner. The bottom and side surface of the receiving container 1 or the whole thereof are formed from a polymer absorbing material. The amount of the electrolyte per one battery for the card is considered to be about 0.2 - 0.3g and the resin amount of the battery receiving container formed using water-soluble cellulose ether having water retentivity of 80% is about 0.5g and sufficient effect is obtained. Therefore, the battery receiving container is prepared from the polymer absorbing material about 0.5g and a molding resin about 0.2g. As a result, when the electrolyte of the battery leaks, it can be absorbed by the battery receiving container 1.</p> |
