The safety apparatus reduces the loss of lives from an accident of vehicle. The safety apparatus comprises a collision sensing bumber (14) mounted to frames (20)(21), an oil hydraulic cylinder (11) having a piston (12) operated by the bumber (14), a backrest actuator (40) and a safety belt tension device (50) operated by the pressure of working fluid transferred from the cylinder (11).
