发明名称 DESULFURIZATION OF EXHAUST GAS
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To use light burnt magnesia with high coefficient of utilization by adding water to light burnt magnesia to charge magnesia in a wet classifier and separating said magnesia into a fine particle slurry and a coarse particle slurry to separately use both slurries. CONSTITUTION:Light burnt magnesia and water are received in a hydrating reaction tank 1 and well stirred to generate hydrating reaction and the reaction mixture is sent to a wet classifier 2 to be separated into a fine particle slurry of magnesium hydroxide and a coarse particle slurry of components other than magnesium hydroxide. The coarse particle slurry is reacted with the desulfurization liquid having sulfur oxide absorbed therein from a desulfurization tower A and a liquid containing no solid is obtained from the reaction product to be supplied to the desulfurization tower A as a treatment solution along with the fine particle slurry. By the use of this inexpensive light burnt magnesium oxide, coefficient of utilization is enhanced and the adhesion of scale or residue in the desulfurization tower is perfectly prevented.</p>
