发明名称 LITHIUM SECONDARY CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance charging/discharging cyclic characteristics by making up a negative electrode from metal oxide which discharges and/or absorbs lithium when a cell is charged and/or discharged respectively, and also making up a positive electrode from metal oxide containing lithium high in electric potential. CONSTITUTION:LiCoO2 as positive electrode active material, carbon powder and aqueous dispersion (DS) of polyethylene tetrafluoride are kneaded at the ratio of 100:7:7 by weight while being coated so as to be adhered onto an aluminum foil of 30mum in thickness, the aluminum foil is then rolled with pressure and cut so that it is made into a positive electrode plate 1. CoO, carbon powder and DS are kneaded at the ratio of 100:10:10 by weight and pressed onto a nickel net with pressure, and it is then dried, rolled and cut so that it is made into a negative electrode plate 3. The plates 1 and 3 are wound up into a spiral shape while a separator 2 is being laid between them, and they are inserted into a case 7 made of iron plated with Ni so that a positive electrode lead 4 made of titanium is welded to a stainless sealing plate 5 to which a terminal 6 plated with Ni is welded, and a negative electrode lead 8 made of Ni is welded to the bottom section of the case 7. Electrolyte solution in which LiPF6 is dissolved in propylene carbonate by a rate of 1mol/l, is injected so as to be sealed. By this constitution, a cell can thereby be provided, which is high in energy density, and is excellent in charging/discharging cyclic characteristics.
