1,101,196. Supporting pipes. KUNSTSTOFFWERK GEBRUDER ANGER G.m.b.H. & CO. 1 Sept., 1966 [14 Sept., 1965], No. 39123/66. Heading F2P. [Also in Division E2] A support member for pipes which are to be laid in bundles comprises a plate 1 having a plurality of arcuate open recesses 2 cut in the edge of the plate, each adapted to extend around slightly more than half the periphery of the respective pipe 4 so that the pipe may be resiliently forced into the recess and each having a flange 3. The plate and pipes are preferably of plastics material. As shown, the plate has four recesses for holding four pipes, but subsequent pipes may be added to the bundle by clipping plates 5 and 6 on to pairs of the pipes 4, the centres of the cut-outs or recesses of each plate lying at the corners of a square. In a modification, Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown), each plate has two recesses and four such plates are used to support four pipes, pairs of plates (7a, 7c and 7b, 7d respectively) having abutting edges. In further modifications, Figs. 5-8 (not shown), a plate (10) having three pipe receiving recesses is provided and a rectangular plate is formed with recesses enabling pipes of different diameters to be clipped together.
|
