A double disc clutch assembly for controlling the wheel and power take-off drives for a tractor comprises a central pair of presser plates 20, 21 urged by Belleville springs 23, 24 against the driven discs 16, 17 and connected by pins 32, 33 and pairs of links 28, 29, the former having a lost-motion slot connection 32a, to actuating levers 35 for their sequential operation by a release collar 37. The springs 23, 24 are held apart by a corrugated spacer 25 allowing the passage of cooling air, and the pivot pins 26 of the levers 35 carry light torsion springs to prevent rattle. |
