ADHESIVE COATING METHOD AND APPARATUS IN HOSE MANUFACTURING PROCESS

PURPOSE:To continuously form an adhesive layer on the outer peripheral surface of a mandrel in uniform thickness by coating the outer peripheral surface of the coated resin of the fed mandrel with an adhesive and passing the mandrel through the squeezing member provided to the leading end of an adhesive squeezing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive W is applied to the outer peripheral surface of the coated resin of a fed resin coated mandrel 2. The resin coated mandrel 2 is passed through an adhesive squeezing apparatus 1 and the adhesive on the outer peripheral surface of the coated resin is uniformized by the squeezing member 7 formed by the circular knitting of long nylon fiber provided to the leading end of the apparatus 1. Thereafter, the coated mandrel is transferred to a hose manufacturing process through an adhesive drying apparatus 4. As a result, the adhesive can be continuously formed to the outer peripheral surface of the resin of the resin coated mandrel in uniform thickness.
