1,211,054. Fluid pressure servomotor systems; Transducers. MOOG Inc. Dec.17, 1968 [Dec.29, 1967], No.60025/68. Headings G3H and G3P. A transducer comprises a deflector 75 movable along a path T-T in response to input signals to vary the proportions of stream 48 which are directed to out put legs 52, 53 of an amplifier 42 in a lamina 40 sandwiched between a lamina 41 and an upper member 39 which is provided with bores (not shown) connecting the amplifier parts with the exterior of the device. The input signals may be of fluidpressure, but according to the preferred arrangement an armature 29 is movable relative to magnetic pole pieces 26, 27 by applying electrical signals to coils 30, 31. The armature is carried by a resiluent tube 33 to the lower end of which is secured a member 36 provided with deflector 75 which can also be adjusted along path A-A, to vary the gain of the transducer, by a spring 104. In a modification Figs.14-16 (not shown) output legs 52, 53 are connected co-oppositely acting chambers (89, 90) of a spool valve with controls the flow of fluid to the load, and which has a mechanical feed back connection to the deflector comprising a spring (101) engaging a groove (103) in the spool.
|
