<p>The door leaf of a fire-barrier door consists of sheet-metal panels (1 and 2) which form a flat box. Arranged therein is an insulating-material insert (4) surround by a frame which stiffens the door leaf. The frame is composed of fillets (6) consisting of a material which contains an evaporable liquid which are covered at least partially with sheet-metal strips (7). For this purpose, each sheet-metal strip (7) is angled at least twice and butts on three sides of the relevant fillet (6) so as to form a compact unit. <IMAGE></p> |
