The present invention relates to a mechanical metering device essentially comprising a metering chamber (1), upper and lower mechanical members (2, 2') for closing and opening two orifices (3, 3') of the said chamber, mechanical means (4) for kinematic linkage between control means of the said members (2, 2') and these members. This metering device is characterised in that it includes a first pipe (6) above the said upper orifice (3), a second pipe (6') below the said lower orifice (3'); the said pipes (6, 6') including a region made of a flexible material (10, 10'), the said upper and lower members (2, 2') consisting of means for squeezing the said region of flexible material (10, 10'), which can adopt a crushed position for closing, or a released position for opening, the said kinematic linkage means (4). The said control means and the said upper and lower members (2, 2') are outside the metering chamber (1) and the said pipes (6, 6'). <IMAGE>
