<p>Piezoelectric ceramics for transducers. .B6A. Consist of compositions of the formula:- (Ag1/2Bi1/2)TiO3-(Ag1/2Bi1/2)ZrO3-PbTiO3-PbZrO3 where up to 25 atoms % of lead may be replaced by at least one selected from the group of barium, strontium and calcium. Ceramic compositions of such quaternary systems have large electrochemical coupling factors and are suited for use as transducers in ultrasonic wave transmission and reception.</p> |
