PURPOSE:To seal the gap between the entrance of the insertion hole of a cable insertion part and an optical fiber cable without using any adhesive by providing a sealing member which seals the gap to the entrance of the insertion hole. CONSTITUTION:The sealing member which seals the gap formed with the optical fiber able to confine the optical fiber cable 7 in the insertion hole 8 is provided to the entrance of the insertion hole 8 of the cable insertion part 2. For example, and 0 ring 13 is used as the sealing member and this 0 ring which is fitted onto the optical fiber cable 7 is mounted in a groove part 14 formed at the entrance part of the insertion hole 8 of the cable insertion part 2. Consequently, the optical fiber cable can easily and securely be sealed without using any adhesive which whitens the optical fiber cable. |
