PURPOSE:To enhance recovery efficiency of nonmagnetic metal by upward tilting the upper traveling part of a belt in relating to the traveling direction of the belt and enlarging the range of the magnetic flux of a rotary magnet for nonmagnetic metal. CONSTITUTION:A belt 100 is passed around a driving roller 11 and a cylindrical body 60 so that the upper traveling part 100a of the belt 100 is upward tilted in relating to the traveling direction of the belt for the cylindrical body 60 constituted of the driving roller 11 and the nonconductive material. The relative position of the driving roller 11 for the cylindrical body 60 is deviated to the lower part. A range described hereunder becomes an angle alpha and is enlarged. In this range, magnetic repulsion is allowed to act on aluminum scrap (m) on the belt 100 by an N pole 43 and an S pole 43' provided to the outer circumferential edge part of a rotary magnet 7. Aluminum scrap (m) receives repulsion due to eddy current and is sent flying and discharged to a storage chamber F. Thereby recovery efficiency is enhanced and aluminum scrap can be separated. |
